Re: Mason’s injury
I wish Sprnkle would empty the bench at the end of games that are out of reach to protect the starters. Putting in your bench and allowing the opposition to close the gap results in an undesirable impact on the NET. Maybe Sprink understands how the NET works. Bingo. He tried doing this with about 1...

You didn’t mention the part where we let the other team close the gap then have to put the starters back in for a close win. That's why I said...

What hope does he have to get more minutes next year? Unless someone transfers out he's such behind the same group. I love his energy when he gets in the game though. Sometimes I think the team could use that.

I can't believe this! And after I saved his life?! But seriously, we were paddle boarding up at Porcupine reservoir a few years ago and some of the football players (and I'm guessing they were cheerleaders) were up there. They had borrowed like 5 life jackets for 7 people. They weren't wearing the l...

Re: Where was the fire we showed against Boise when we played Nevada?
In the post game show on the radio Sprinkle said something to the effect of, the last 2 days of practice were the best/ hardest of the season, and the game was not about Boise but about us.
I think the losing streak lit a fire. Hopefully we can play that hard every game the rest of the way.

Re: Refs influenced by a coach
There are several reasons we lost imo, piss poor shooting, Charmin defense, not playing physical, etc. The refs certainly didn't help us either but they're not the reason we lost. At one point in the first half I checked the team stats. We had shot 6 free throws and they had shot 2. I checked again ...

Here's something to think about, Karson will have played his last game as an Aggie (assuming he plays all 4 years straight) and be younger at that point than Mason was when he played his first game.

If they really aren't that great of a team then they will come crashing back to earth once they start playing real teams. Which will cause their fans who are probably penciling them in to the final four to melt down (which in okay with).

It wasn't a big monetary donation, but Cyrusher ebikes hooked some of the players who didn't have other transportation options up with ebikes. One in particular is a P5 transfer who was walking from his apartment by the tabernacle to the stadium and back every day.

How are we losing guys to ECU? I am not surprised he is getting poached, but I would have expected it to be to a P5 school given the year the RBs just had. Used to coach at Michigan State and at Utah State is probably far away from where he is from and let’s face it Logan is not everyone’s cup of t...

I know this is way too early, but go with me for a minute. What does it mean for college bball in the future if this team makes a tourney run? I think it only expounds the problems/greatness/and whatever else of the transfer portal. If a new coach can throw together a team that had zero returning po...

After the first quarter: Uconn 24 USU 0
Final score: Uconn 42 USU 38

Re: once again the we suck because we lose a game
My biggest concern was how badly we got beat in the physicality department. They averaged 5.4 yards per carry and we averaged 2.1. Watching other games this weekend made me think that we aren't going to win many battles in the trenches this year. I got in wrong though. Two positives from the AFA gam...

I think we can cover if we don't run the same 3 offensive plays all game. I'm hopeful that we actually have an offensive play book this year.

I heard a certain guard who recently left our program was leaning towards signing with byu until he talked with a current member of their bball team who told him pretty much what that article states. You get promised lots of money but it never comes.

What if one of the current byu players told him the cougars didn't come through on the promised amount of money to him? I wonder if that would affect one's decision on whether to play for them or not? Just total speculation on my part.

Re: What changes next year???
There were a lot of things that I was disappointed with this year. If I had to pick one I'd say the play calling was the worst. Maybe it was because our oline sucked and couldn't block to give other options but I got sick of the handoffs on 3rd and long. We did it against Bama (okay, we weren't even...

Memphis. I’m so glad I didn’t go to this. It was tempting, as it was very proximate to OkAggie, but I’ve seen this team play a lot, and I was 100% confident that we’re worse than Memphis. Everyone played as if totally disinterested. That’s exactly what this team deserves. A nice 1,000 mile flight i...

Re: Shulga ejected
Our players need to stop jawing at the refs. Akin does it a lot (almost after every play it seems he wants a foul called). I'm surprised there aren't more T's. I've refed games before (at a very low level) and nothing is more annoying than players that think they're refs.
