No to the AAC. I much prefer the MWC. If Boise wants to go to the aac to die, be my guest. I like playing regional like minded institutions and sustaining rivalries. Re: Harsin to Auburn

Now is the perfect time for Utah State to establish at the top of the Mountain division. Boise will drop a few rungs I believe. CSU is down. WYO is proving to be mediocre under Bohl. New Mexico is down. Air Force is above average but will likely not be the top dog year in year out. If Boise falters,...

I trust CBS. espn doesn't give two $hits unless your p5. Glad they are not part of our new TV deal.

Re: Bosie to the AAC?

[*][*] The AAC is better than most are giving credit. The MW has struggled lately. It's football is down and isn't getting better. The AAC is in a better position geographically and is getting a lot more pub. The PAC 12 and the MW suffer from the same problems. If BYU and BSU join the AAC, watch out...

Re: Some current staff staying?

Great coach? Based on what?. The d is not good, they consistently tackle poorly and are out of position and you don’t just punt away when your team is whooped and really need to rally with trying a may. Give some effort and lead with a fired up fight to make a few yards. We were losing anyway. Sent...

Re: Some current staff staying?

I think Frank has garnered a bad rap through this mess but its unwarranted. He inherited a dumpster fire mid-season. He is a solid leader, great coach and can recruit well. I admire his Aggie loyalty and the players do too. I actually think it will help retain players and get them to buy in with him...

Sounds like the phrasing has been pretty consistent and incredibly damning if true. If that is what she indeed said then Cockett is as good as gone.

I'm guessing JH knows who the coach is and is waiting until after our game Saturday to announce. The players can focus on our last game and then announce before early signing.

Re: So who do you hope it is?

I was all on board with Maile.....maybe it was a bit of New Mexico game talking but I now think we need an overhaul. Butch Jones would be my pick for that. Jay Hill would be a solid pick but Hartwell will look past that hire.

I'm on the Maile train. The guy will give Aggie Football everything he has and is young so has a lot to give. Seeing what he has done from dismissing cancers, shuffling coaching duties and getting the right guys on the field has sold me. He definitely has the vote of the players. So did Tim Dureyea...

1. Jay Hill

5. Butch Jones

I like the idea of a younger guy with HC experience at any level.

I agree completely. Hicks has been a complete letdown.

I would welcome Alan Bishop back at our strength and conditioning coach. He currently serves as the director of sports performance at Univ. of Houston.

Scarvers KR for a TD was a big highlight. The kid is one return TD away from the NCAA record. That could be highlight of the season.

Re: Shelley sucks

Shelley needs to go. The play along with sideline antics are pitiful and not up to Aggie standards. I'll give a Maile a pass today because I believe he was going with Peasley until he couldn't go today. Time to let Calvin or Legas sling it. I don't care if they throw pick after pick. Colombi would be starting if he was here no question. Shelley shouldn't be playing QB and I'm not sure he is athletic enough to play any other position. I wish we would have seen more of Peasley. Maybe give Legas a shot, can't be worse than Shelley.

Pathetic post indeed. One game against a team that has dominated us for decades. Pandemic, new system and new coaches, missing starters. Our offense will look very different and I think that will be a very good thing. Our rushing attack should be lights out due to all the above mentioned reasons. Another benefit will be red zone scoring. We were straight terrible last year with RZ scoring. Ranked 122 last year. We should reverse that...
