Re: Nemi officially BACK!

Finding a vaccine is not a sure thing so at some point we just need to proceed as normal. Those with underlining conditions should be extra cautious and stay away from large events, but let the rest of society make the decision whether they want to risk going to sporting events. Nobody has been eve...

Re: Women's Hoops

Here is the problem. No one really cares who the coach is and how the team does. I wish the women’s team a success simply because it represents USU. Although I’m an avid Aggie men’s basketball and football fan and devoted to my alma mater I’ve never watched a women’s game and only occasionally look...

Re: Greatest shots...

The shot I remember goes way, way, way back. I'm guessing 1953 because I was in the 5th grade at Whittier School and our student teacher was married to Bob Harbertson (? spelling) who played for the Aggies. I saw him make an end of game basket from mid court. This was close toor during the era of Pa...

It does result in one poetic fact....Sam Merrill's last shot as an Aggie was a game winning three. Great exit for him and for us for all time.

Thanks for posting! What an interview...he certainly is not a terse young man. Really excited for him to be an Aggie great.
So refreshing to see someone who can really express himself rather than spout the usual cliches.

Game is not until tomorrow night and is on espn 3. Thanks, but my question really is, what do I do to watc...

So pleased there was no "divine intervention"...I fully expected the Y to pull off a last second touchdown. Couldn't be happier with a Wilson interception to finish the game.

We were all amazed when Cornell was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys....he didn't play a second of USU football. Darnell was a great guy (I believe he is an administrator at Weber State) I had a pottery class with him. Quite a sight seeing him hunched over a pottery wheel throwing clay in the Art Barn....

My first year at USU. That was a really great era to be an Aggie as we were superb in both basketball and football. Have that yearbook too...if you examine the players pictured, it seems like every other guy had a professional football career.

To put USU bowl games in perspective, I looked up the first appearance by the Aggies...the 1947 Raisin Bowl in Fresno. We were Utah State Agricultural College, often referred to as "The Farmers". Played San Jose State....did not have much offensive punch (126 total yards and just 7 first downs.). It...

Got to thinking about Aggies and bowl games...I remember our appearance in the Sun Bowl which may have been the first time USU appeared on national TV? Not all cases are the same..if there is rupture or spillage of intestinal contents the ensuing peritonitis can complicate what would have been a simple recovery and may necessitate multiple drains, larger incision, antibiotics, etc.

PIss poor offense on the red zone. That is the difference this season
I think another difference is last year we bypassed the red zone more frequently, roaring through en route to a long score.

I think the first quarter will tell the tale of the game. If we don't get off to a fast start with a couple of scores I think it will be a struggle we will lose. Hope I'm wrong, but our offense has not been what I expected we would have this year.
