Re: Coaching Candidates

Sitting here watching the Ohio state vs Indiana game I can’t help but wonder..... what about Kane Womack? Indiana’s defense is legit. I know he is super young at only 34 but he has screamed up the coaching ladder everywhere he has been. Before you get concerned that he is super young with limited c...

There is going to be a mass exodus. There is no transfer penalty.
I'm not sure the NCAA thought through what removing the penalty could mean to a program that hits a rough spot at exactly the wrong year. Hopefully we survive this.

No, proof why you shouldn't only shoulder tackle. Lead with the shoulder arms extended and wrap up.

As opposed to leading with the hip arms or knee arms?

Just having grammar fun. Carry on.

I expect Andy Peasley to start. I believe Xavion Steele is getting his first start as well. I expect AJ Vongphachahn and Elijah Shelton to see an increased role. You might see a shakeup with linebackers as well. UPDATE: I NO longer expect Andy Peasley to start or even play. Covid? Or something else?

I don't know Frank Maile or even know that much about him, but to me, that would feel like we are settling for low-hanging fruit. Sort of like Tim Duryea. The chances that the very best candidate for the job is already on our staff doesn't strike me as terribly likely. Do a national search and come...

I blame CA. Like it or not, they're quite liberal in their handling of the crisis, and we're in a conference with them.

Re: No College Football this fall according to 2 P5 ADs

Just think if the MWC is the only conference to have college football. How great would that be for the conference. As much as I wish they had the guts to do this, if the P5 cancel, they'll put pressure on the NCAA to force everyone to cancel. That's my guess. Any conference willing to play (if ther...

Let everyone cancel but the Mountain West. Then Conference Champ can also claim National Champ. That's my vote, but only if we're conference champs I guess.

I agree with what others are saying, but I think we're overlooking the key point in all this: protecting innocent fire extinguishers in the future. Has that been adequately addressed?
