Re: How to beat AFA

As I said before, here's to a good game with no injuries. Snow is melting here in the Springs and at USAFA so should be an outstanding night for football 68 degrees high and 30 degrees low (57 degrees and sunny right now after 8" of snow last night). If inclined, here's some thoughts, comparisons be...

Air Force fan here. No word yet on Hammond and we are holding our breath. Good news is that Mike Schmidt stood up and did outstanding. Background is more interesting. He is actually the #4 QB coming into the season. The #3 (Freshman) left so he became the new #3. #2 QB Isaiah Sanders (split starting...

Seriously? Outcoached by a coach that just beat you with no JC transfers, no foreign students, no red-shirts and who made excellent adjustments between both halves. I'll take that 'the day after' a win!

Re: Air Force vs USU

Tough game for both team last night and tough play on both sides of the ball. Refs were definitely questionable for both teams at times and I agree with most here you were robbed of a TD which could have been a game changer. The only thing I could think of was a different camera angle we didn't see ...

Thanks. Key to the game begins at the line on both sides of the ball and 'if' we can/will" throw if you sell out to stop the run. Conversely, while I do not underestimate your running attack it will be on us to stop the pass. If we can do that we will be in this game. Can't wait. GO FALCONS Wow. Re...

Re: Quiet Here: Air Force vs Utah State

If AF wins our last two games (hm vs USU, @ FSU) we will be at 8-10.....depending on what Fresno State/NM/UNLV do we could end up anywhere from the 6th seed (and 1st round bye) to the 9th seed. But for us to have a chance to move up we have to first win our last two games. Currently #24 San Diego St...

Quiet Here: Air Force vs Utah State

From an AF fan...here's to a good game with no injuries. Thoughts on the game.... With a quick turnaround, the Falcons now host red-hot Utah State who is on a roll and now at 10-5 in the MWC winning 5 in a row and chasing a #1-4 seed in the tourney. This will be a tough matchup for the Falcons who a...

Congrats on a good win...you took it to us with the opening TD and never looked back. After doing so well taking care of the ball we looked failed to take care of it. Sad to say there even has to be a thread on this......IMHO just treat any team entering your stadium and playing the game like you want to be treated when on the road...with respect from the fans and then letting the players play the game on the field. Anyone that 'boo's' when teams enter the field ...

Flybys would be cool but until last week we have not had any flybys for a year due to 'sequestration'. We did get the approval for F-22's flyby before the Navy game last week and will get C-130 vs NM...nothing else for the remainder of the year at this time!

Re: From an Air Force Fan: Air Force vs Utah State

You have already heard my thoughts on the game. It's an uphill battle for a Falcon team that are 'dogs' on all the bookies sheets, 'dogs' in the stats, 'dogs' on all the non-Air Force sports forums and they are not expected by 'anyone' to be in this game. Well, maybe that is true and we are facing a...

Here's my full postgame thoughts on the AF over BSU victory...It was simply a very good defensive effort by my Falcons. You are totally correct about last year. We were also playing with a backup QB sophomore that had zero snaps under his belt after #1 went down.
