Re: What I learned from the Aggies this year

With all due respect to everyone posting, but hype/expectation is not the problem. The problem is a lack of drive/effort. No, they are not necessarily mutually exclusive. The expectations play an important role in uniting the community/fan base. It holds the players/coaches/administrators/fans/etc t...

What will the student section be like next year?

Sorry to interrupt the speculation of whether Queta will return or not (Queta is always welcome to return but do what's best for you, young man), but what I'm very curious to see is what the student section will look like. We can't control Queta's decision, but I do believe we (I guess I'm referring...

There's no way we don't sign Cam Mack. I'll bet my cardboard box on it!

Admittedly, this is the first time I've ever heard the name Cam Mack, but I'm feeling very confident about my school and our basketball program (and Cam Mack, who I've never seen play basketball).

Couldn't be more proud of this team. They finally played real Aggie basketball and gave us back the Spectrum! Did I want to finally break the tournament loss streak? Of course I did. But let's step back and just look at how amazing this past season was and up our donations and buy our season tickets...

I met a lot of these students in the photo while camping out for the Nevada game. They’re not Hurd committee members but diehard Aggie fans that care very much about the future of the program. I wish I could join them in Columbus, but unfortunately this is a crucial week for me during my graduate st...

Absolutely not, that's not my university and he's a great coach that should give us a home-and-home every year against a Top ...

UNLV was using Tweeners long before the Fab 5 True, but I guess the argument is did the rest of college basketball follow UNLV's lead shortly after? It's not surprising that on face value, this theory is false. Because it skews the odds that if a team sweeps another team in the regular season, than it likely is a significantly better team (most of the time). But as mentioned earlier, no one cares if Nevada beats SJSU three times. But people like...

Ok, I guess after I laid out my counter-argument ... However, we fired Duryea and moved on. We have to stop pointing the finge...

I know I should be happy with a 19-point win where we shot 50% from the field and held them to 31%, but it just didn't feel like a particularly "good win" to me.
