Dude, we would have won it all. Like Butler but we hit the shot.

Prove me wrong!

Re: The Shot - No call

Tonight I tried "the shot" at a gym. I also call it "the Sam Merrill." Dribble through legs left to right, cross over back left, through legs left to right, cross over back left, through legs left to right, through legs right to left, dribble and step left, dribble step left, rise up and fade a bit ...

Re: Sam Merrill's draft potential?

I have no idea about NBA draft potential. But I REALLY like his college tournament potential. And he was clearly the best player on the court for all three MWC tournament games, regardless of any other player's draft potential. Micah Finn is a good player too. He definitely had an off night. I'd lik...

Sam's move that we never saw?

Didn't Sam say that he was going over that final play scenario and had a move cooked up, but then changed his mind after the sddude was defending so well?

1-I'd like to see the move and 2-Nice audible by Sam BAM Merrill.

SDSU knew EXACTLY what to expect yet he still pulled up, and BAM! Game over.

Dutcher comes across like a crazy uncle. Disagree. Dutcher handled every question with respect and enthusiasm which is something I can't say for a lot of coaches. I actually respect Fagen a lot. He's the only one that had the stones to step up and guard the best player on Utah State and also take t...

Re: NIT bracketology. I picked Utah St to win it all(#1 seed)

SDSU and all other Western teams without deep NCAA experience will generally do poorly in the NCAAs. This is partly because the in-conference reffing out West is more ticky tack than back East and in the NCAA tournament. I do think, however, the reffing out West is trending less and less ticky tack,...

Why I like Coach Smith

1. Fist bumps for opposing coaches after Wyoming game.

2. Regularly loses his voice.

3. Called timeout with 7 seconds left after Leon Rice called timeout with 12 seconds left after game was in the refrigerator.

4. Maybe most importantly, shows resilience in the face of opposition.

Guys, guys, guys. If Miller's 3 point abilities really are as good as Coach Smith's behavior implies (by letting him continue to shoot), then just think of how many threes he's going to hit in our remaining games. The more he misses, the more he HAS to make in future games to get up to his real perc...

I thought it was Upstairs Downstairs Abbey.

Does Downtown have any remaining eligibility? Even at his age he could probably shoot higher than 20%.

Dagger. I'm pretty sure the neighbors heard my scream. Just seeing that shot doesn't put the correct perspective on how big it was. I think we misplayed the previous 2-3 possessions. I care only a little about this. Just make sure we're on a roll come tourney time and this won't matter. The game was ugly and brutish. These guys do not like each other. That said, successful teams learn to win games like this - foul trouble, disjointed rhythm and the inability to make open three pointers. The difference in the game was hustle, rebounding and going 30-35 from the free throw line. Tha...

I don't care about this right now. Smith and our boys won't lose to the techs thrice in a row. Just play your best ball at tourney time and win the tourney. We have talent to do that and even win a first round game. We ALWAYS play better without a target on our back. If an at large bid for this team...

I think coach K reflects on this incident at the end of the season, and it's the straw that broke the camel's back in him deciding to hang it up. He's too old for this. Re: Hindsight is 20/20: very unwise to schedule national champion on the road

I think it's kinda cool and doesn't really matter for a team like this year's USU. Also we get to say stuff like "hey, we held LSU to as many points as Clemson!"

And if this really was one of the best seasons by a football team of all time, it's pretty cool that we were on the schedule.
