Re: How did we land Ashworth?

Wasn’t Tyler Newbold from Zoobieland somewhere? I think his dad was like the PA announcer for BYU football or something like that although I believe his parents were both USU grads. I may have my story mixed up but I will say it is difficult to find a more true blooded Aggie than Tyler. He was from...

My favorite play from Miller today was late in the game when he poked the ball away for his man, dove on the ground and ripped the ball away from the opposing player.
And that was against Butler who was killing us yesterday.

You could see Fonz settling in with the increased playing time. I wonder if his issue is more to do with lack of rhythm from playing spot minutes but I’m not sure how you increase his role without sacrificing minutes from Bean or Dorius. The ability to come in off the bench with energy and instant r...

While I agree with the idea, in the end It matters more who finishes the game and how much time you play than who starts. But Butler sure is a better defender and his speed was more effective against us than the slower styles of Mitchell and Shackel.

Which also makes me happy Minnesota is a top 25 team that throttled undefeated Michigan today. That's one job that CS might be really tempted to take, if offered. Can't believe I'm actually rooting for baby Pitino. Indiana is a job that is likely to be open. I’m sure Craig will be on their radar. T...

Ashworth definitely gets the game ball. I'm not sure Gomez scored again in the 2nd half after Ashworth started guarding him. He's fearless and just a play maker. Miller had some big timely shots and was crucial in the comeback. His shooting ability opens up our offense. Anderson had a stretch in tha...

I saw a quote from Craig Smith saying as good as Miller was offensively, he was even better defensively. How does that reconcile to the general consensus on this board that he is a poor defender. Is it just that the bar is that low, or is he better than most on this board give him credit for? I've ...
