Re: Ficklin

Austin Stephens was very good also. When he verbally committed he flat out said that a big reason he chose Utah State was to have the opportunity to learn from Tyler Larsen for a year.

Re: WR Help?

A commonality in all disagreements about the state of our current offense is the fact that we need to step up at WR. Siaosi will be gone next year (I don't believe we lose any other WR help of note). One worrisome thing is we don't appear to be bringing in any WR help in recruiting for next year. W...

And better weather means a better Jordan Love. Hopefully.
Perhaps it might help the receivers also.A hell of a lot of drops in that game.
I agree my Aggie brother. However, looking back Jordan Love has never played well in bad/cold weather.

Re: Defending Love

I see a bad scheme as well. We really don't do anything with the run game besides go up the middle or have Love keep it. We should be running fly sweeps and other outside stuff. Against CSU, we should have gone outside all day. Their previous opponent gutted them with the sweeps. We were content to...

Re: Defending Love

If Mike Sanford is truly the cause of the offensive struggles, as many of you seem to agree. My question to you all is this, are any of you able to point to where the change in his offensive philosophy occurred? Mike Sanford had a meteoric rise up the coaching ranks as he rose from Stanford to Boise...

Great win tonight but how do we get a road win at Air Force ? How will our d do against the triple option? Air Force has been racking up a lot of yards and points on O. Also our offense isn't helping out our d with all of our 3 and out possessions. Our offense will have to step it and hopefully be ...

Re: PLEASE! Cut Down on the Late-Start Games!!

If we had more people show up last year when our start times were great, I would have more sympathy about this. It just doesn't matter. Our fans suck early or late I think our fans are awesome. The fact of the matter is, we just don't have enough fans to fill our stadium on even a semi-regular basis.

I really like our AFA matchup this year.
Our run defense is stout compared to our pass coverage.
In the triple option that doesn't matter. Our cbs and dbs will have to be disciplined and I just don't see it.
Troy Lefeged HAS to stop bouncing off running backs and make a damn tackle.

If I remember watts was the kid listed at about 6’8”? Nevada has come in and signed some kids from the state recently that we didn’t go after. They’ve recruited East pretty hard. Though Jordan was never really in the conversation. The struggles of some of the other QBs mentioned in this thread only pave the way for Jalen Hurts to claim the Heisman this year.
