Re: Space Dynamics Laboratory

i used to work for SDL. software engineering. one of the branches where the customer was the air force. i felt, every day, like i was the stupidest person on the team. i did well enough in actuality, average to maybe above average. but some of the people that were on my team just blew my mind with ...

Does anyone else wish they'd just play this in Vegas? It's not like UNLV is really ever going to be a risk of being in the game.

Re: Basketball ticketing

The new ticket system sucks. Good grief I hope I didn't miss a click or two along the way. Give me one click to download all my tickets or print them. What they did this year doesn't make me excited to get season tickets next year. I know... Get off my lawn, Yada Yada. Sent from my IN2017 using Tapa...

I'm surprised that no attention is being given to the MAC. Their geography alone I would think would make them be among the dominos falling.

Re: Csu and AFA not going anywhere

Noise today is that MWC is seriously looking at adding two teams from C-USA, looking like UNT and maybe Rice. We'll see. Basketball wise, UNT would be a nice pick up, two deep into the NCAA's last year, they've had some decent football (aside from getting destroyed by us a few years ago). Interesti...

Re: Csu and AFA not going anywhere

The damage this Jerk from AFA caused is not good. Do what you feel is best for your institution, but to try and drag other teams in our conference away and hurt it, is entirely self serving and selfish. To also make public comments that the AAC in effect, is a "Better conference", is something you ...

Pathetic defense

Our defense ranks 121st in the nation in total defense, giving up 463.8 yards per game. I'm not convinced that our next four games are sure wins like I'm hearing many say they are. Someone talk me off the cliff. I don't think we have faced any offensive juggernauts. Boise isn't up to snuff with the...

Re: Air Force and CSU to AAC is gaining momentum

What do they gain by that move? With what the AAC lost is it really an upward move at this point? It’s not an upward move for CSU. It’s a move that offers protection in the event BSU and SDS leave to the Big12. When the music stops the Rams will have a chair. The Aggies may have a much smaller one....

I had the opportunity to talk to several South Dakota fans during the lightning delay. They were a really neat fan base. Would like to see us continue to bring in a variety of schools. Don't really like Thursday games, but Fridays are fine. That said, I'm local.

Big Scotty G fan. He does a great call, and his radio show with Hans Olsen is the best sports show we've ever had in Utah. They are extremely fair to the Aggies.

It seems like every year we have this exact thread about the AFA game, with the prevailing thought that we'll handle them easily. We're 3-5 against them since joining the MW. I expect this to be a tough game. Definitely our toughest opponent yet.

This is nothing new. It's why I stopped watching the NBA about 20 years ago. It's completely fixed for large market teams. Good business decision for the NBA, bad for anyone who truly cares about the sanctity of sport.

I've heard rumblings that We're trying to find an opponent to play to replace SUU. The game would have to be big enough to garner one of our TV partners to cover the game so that the income from the game would be enough to buy out SUU and then some.
