Re: Bobby Wagner, on SNF, doesn't say "Utah State" this year either

I'm not one to tell anyone how to spend their money, but it is interesting to me how Bobby is not involved philanthropically at Utah State. Perhaps he is waiting until the end of his career, perhaps someone that now lives in Lubbock burned some bridges. Hard to say! He reads this board religiously,...

I do not know what many players have done for USU. I'm not sure what Kevin Curtis, Jaycee Carrol or others have done. Perhaps I should have more info before passing judgement ? Because some give but do not want publicity.

Pretty sure they will share the starting job. One may get more game play than the other but each has different strengths and will be used actively. We’ll see soon
That is what what I would do. Yes we shall soon see.

Re: so how is the qb race shaping up for this season?

You never tell a kid you are the starter when recruiting him, but Shelley has the most experience, and most likely should be the starter, but Peasley will be in waiting, and if Shelley slips in the practice or games he would be replaced in a hurry..

Tania, is the team still practicing? Any new reports on what they have been told? They are practicing and nothing new. There was no other reason for that first bona fide practice you announced a while ago than that the teams and schools were informed by the league that they should take care and get...

Re: Oct 17th. Aggies better suit up.

No school in the Pac-12 or the MWC will play unless the conference approves, and those that can not play would see it as a major disadvantage not to play given that no eligibility is lost by playing, so they will be voting no play. You can not decide on your own to just play.

Re: Oct 17th. Aggies better suit up.

First of all the MWC has to decide to play, and with 5 schools in states that do not allow football to be played a vote to play may not be easy to come by, also CSU is having some problem getting going so that is not a slam dunk vote. If play does start I believe it should be played with no fans in...

A big problem there is high schools are not playing, and the university ofColorado is also not playing either, to be able to get approval might not be easy.

I get it, your reference to the stench makes sense now, but for you set fire to all those gas passers along with the hot air in that area a blaze of epic preparation would occur, perhaps that what is meant as the light of the world.

Re: U of U Furloughs Entire Athletic Department

USU is in better shape because the University and students pick up 56% of the budget where as the U only receives 12 %, so as long as the school is willing to put that amount into the budget, USU will do ok.

Re: U of U Furloughs Entire Athletic Department

The U has a huge budget of nearly $100 million. the biggest money comes from ticket sales which are close to $20 million donations that are around $13 million, plus a big T.V. contract all of those revenue streams have severe cuts. They do not spend much University funds or student fees on athletics...

When you have a arena with no room between rows and between seats that does get you closer to the floor. When you have 4,500 students at a game it also makes it louder. If the Spectrum made you a fan that is wonderful. The building can and will be changed or replaced in the future and several of the...
