Re: Butch Jones to CSU

Not CSU - but Scalley who was on UNLV’s radar extended with the U. It’s crazy how the U can keep that talent. I’m wondering if he is just holding out for a bigger offer. Bullet dodge is that Aranda was thrown around at CSU job. I’m going to be fearful this is true until something is confirmed that ...

Any update on whether the knee got all swoll after the game? Just trying to figure out if I need check myself into a mental hospital or not. I heard his knee is not academically ineligible. There was a play where he blocked the shot on D hustled down got an offensive rebound, missed the punt back, reminded his own shot and got fouled. How? The kid has super human hustle powers. He is so much fun to watch.

Re: Jordan Love to Texas Tech?

Great post. Your post highlights why I have been so frustrated this year. Since the beginning of the year we all saw the need to slow things down. That is something that can be changed during the season, especially with two early byes. As to the young offensive line, there are a lot of plays that ar...

Danny is an idiot. We will likely never turn down a bowl bid, let alone two. Remember what happened to the last ME team to turn down a bid?

They stayed home

Huge Three by Porter

Great spot by Porter. Miller does not need to shoot more jumpers and really shouldn’t be shooting much at all these days. The problem is that he brings nothing else to the table. Brito was off on his jumper tonight. No problem, he went and grabbed 9 rebounds and fouled out Fresno’s best player becau...

Small Forward Minutes

There are about 27 minutes per game that need to be redistributed at this position. This isn’t working. Who takes them?

Do you slide Brito up and Fonzo down to cover them with Queta coming back or do we work Bairstow into a bigger role?

I would have loved to have seen he Utes win. Their fans can be obnoxious but they can back it up a lot better than BYU fans who are much worse. I have zero problem with them not playing us. If I were the AD I would do the same thing. I would have no problem with them not playing us if they didn’t s...

Re: A sign this board has learned our lesson

We can mock Whitt and their schedule all we want, but one thing I thought about while watching the game last night is that even down 20-0 at half time the Utes didn’t roll over and play dead. They can back with some fire and win the third quarter 15-3. They ended up getting rolled, but at least they...

Attended last weeks ASU and UA game in Tempe. Spoke with one scout who says most scouts grade him as a 4th round pick. Gary has never pretended to be an offensive mind. We are literally the only school where Gary could currently be employed as a head coach so that doesn’t surprise me that he isn’t well thought of. Not exactly Aggie related but at Nevada, Alford just inked 5 true freshmen to an LOI for next season..Talk about sea change in recruiting philosophy from coach to coach. And without Queta. I also love how patient this team is. We run a lot more sets this year than we did last year. So glad Smith is our coach. In all honesty these teams look a lot like Stews teams in how they play together and are tough nosed on defense.

Bean=Spencer Nelson with more hops and maybe even more shooting touch. His improvement from last year with his ball handling, passing, and shooting is phenomenal. I understand the pain with the BYU blowout, but keep in mind those folks beat Tennessee, USC, and Boise. AFA is at 10 wins this season, that's a very strong record. Boise had one loss this season, to BYU. LSU is unbeaten and may be the best team in the nation. Wake Forrest had a big season with a w...

I don’t think we’ll see a change in philosophy on the defensive side of the ball. I’d say first you don’t succeed, try, try again. We haven’t heard much of substance from Gary, but what he has said points to only to the offense. do you -- or anyone in general -- think that if we had bigger faster s...
