Re: Name, Image and Likeness and Recruiting

Are we going to get the NCAA Football video games back because of this? If so, that's a definite benefit. They had already announced that it would come out in July of 2023. Lot's of details still missing. Initially it sounded like it would be a subset of schools that they got licensing directly thr...

Re: NAR - Hawaii's Colt Brennan dead at the age of 37

The guy was a beast at Hawaii, he lit us up for 52 points at Aloha Stadium in 2007 and killed us 62-10 in Logan in 2006, I think that has to be our worst home loss in our history (point wise). There have been 2 home losses that were worse but we don't need to talk about them. They happened in 1937 ...

Apparently Vegas is the top candidate right now. As an Angels fan I'd love to have an AL West team just down the road to see my team play more. Vegas wouldn't be a bad drive either but Salt Lake is easy enough to make it to a few games each year.

Incredibly sad. What kind of rehab facility was he at? I would be curious to know what the cause of death was (suicide? OD? Something else)? He had a bad car accident back in 2010 that apparently messed him up and also got arrested for a DUI in 2012. TMZ says that he was in to work on "sobriety ."

No. When they installed the new field the endzones were originally solid blue and they had to cut out the wording and logos to inlay them. This is the scraps from the new field install. I've been using a large piece as a welcome mat ever since.

I really like these posts from the USU Basketball account but they are more for the fans than they are for recruits. Building hype around the new hire is a good way to get the fan base to forget about the last guy and drive season ticket sales for next year. Great job getting the fan base hyped up.

The contract for the next coach should have a buy-out clause that doubles if Utah tries to hire him. I don't care about ybu, that's not a step up anyway. I've long felt that a way for us to sweeten the pot for purposes of keeping a basketball coach would be to give them all NCAA tourney proceeds we garner from the NCAA.
