Re: Doug Robinson article on the Maile incident
What was the deal with the equipment manager situation? When did this occurr i dont rwmenber hearing this prior to this situation. Not complicated. Black guys can use the "N" word. White guys can't. It's stupid, but them's the rules, and a benign intent is irrelevant. I don't think it's stupid that...

Re: Cockett comments from sources to channel 2.
Some of the comments are pretty alarming. For example this one: ""Dr Cockett SEEMED to be INSINUATING that Coach Maile was not fit for the job because of certain aspects of his background...We were pushing and advocating for him and she had REALLY NO SOLID EXCUSE OTHER THAN HE HASN'T HAD THE WINS H...

Re: In a sane and rational world
Correct. These kids, for whose college tuition we pay with our hard earned donations and out of our love for the Utah State community as a whole, have selfishly and recklessly shat all over the program that was investing in their future. The football program will likely suffer immeasurably from this...

Re: Blatantly obvious missed calls.
I know there's a million ref suck threads, but this is what I saw from the 5th row. - How did Rollie get a T when the BYU player pushed him twice?? - There were 2-4 charging calls where the BYU player clearly only had one foot on the ground. - The obvious travel and step out of bounds???!!! - THe a...

So we host our next game next Saturday with the team that shall not be named. What do we know about them this year? Their game is on in about 20mins, I’ll probably catch a little to see what they’re like(I hate giving their games viewership ratings). Initial scouting shows their 2 guards(Barcello a...

Re: Bobby Wagner, on SNF, doesn't say "Utah State" this year either
I'm not one to tell anyone how to spend their money, but it is interesting to me how Bobby is not involved philanthropically at Utah State. Perhaps he is waiting until the end of his career, perhaps someone that now lives in Lubbock burned some bridges. Hard to say! He reads this board religiously,...

Not that it matters in the slightest, but we have to be the pasty whitest team in college basketball since some of the late 90s BYU teams. BYU is, by default, the pasty whitest team in college basketball every year however with TJ Haws leaving this year we may actually be in the running for n...

Re: One sports league resuming
I imagine the dominos will start to fall. The real question is when will fans be back? The second real question is what happens when players start testing positive? Does the league hold firm and keep it going, or does panic come in and things just get shut down again. Did the NBA shut down when Mag...

I’ve seen conflicting reports on his size. Is he 5’11”, 5’8”, or somewhere inbetween? Based upon the picture from his baptism closer to 5’8”. I see Britain covey in that picture and they appear about the same height. Then chase Hansen (who is baptizing him) towers above him. https://mobile.twitter....

I have heard from a decent source that he was originally in the doghouse and just quit trying altogether in practice so coach said fine if you’re not gonna try you’re not gonna play. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Is this the same source that said Queta was academically ineligible last semester?

Miller's break out game ended with his final 3 pt attempt sailing 1 foot wide left of the intended target. But his run of 3 made 3's in a row really shows how the team needs his contributions and how those contributions can create separation from the opponent in a hurry.

Most teams lay an egg or 2 during the season, it was just unusual for us to have laid them so close together at UNLV and at AFA. The Boise game would have actually gone down as a good win so that won't be considered a rotten egg held against us at the end of the season by any outside observer that j...
