Re: Wcc and mwc games today

Why are Wyoming and Santa Clara playing this afternoon at SLCC? Are they trying not to have any spectators at the game? Bad form to quote my own post, I know. (I'll make it part of my daily repentance.) But does anybody have an answer to my question? What is the benefit of playing a neutral court g...

They were paying freeze just under $5m. I wouldn't assume Blake is safe based on "lateral" moves. Money talks.

Oral Roberts down at the half to whatever “Rogers State” is. On the plus side, Santa Clara has wins over DePaul and Iona since we drubbed them. We are thus far a paper tiger that’s a product of a weak schedule. I’ll be very interested to see how we perform against USF. I'll take paper tiger ...

Craig was a great coach and did great things here. I don't know why people try and throw shade at him. To win 2 conference crowns and 3 straight tournaments is something that does not happen often. I was skeptical with Odom's first year which I think was warranted. So far this year Odom is proving ...

Officiating wasn't perfect but missed FT's and Turnovers kept San Diego in the game.
Allowing second chance points down the stretch and not attacking Williams on offense when he had 4 fouls.

Go to 2:02:32 and you see the play leading up to the Akin travel. First the USD guy starts to drive, picks up the dribble, cradles the ball puts his head down and takes three big steps prior to launching the missed shot. It does appear that Akin has possession before going down but it looks like th...

I didn't listen but it makes me want to tune in if San Diego has a good shot of beating BYU. Would love to hear the over the top enthusiasm for the Cougs going down.
Something tells me that guy would have the same reaction if they were down by 25 and made a free throw.

If the tight end lines up as a receiver, is he really a tight end at that point? I think it's more of a function of our fast pace and not subbing between plays creating mismatches
He could line up under center and still be a tight end on the roster.

Sterzer is very fast. He nearly ran stride for stride with Scarver on the KR TD last year against UNLV. https://youtu.be/t3-p-nbjDQk Nothing wrong with this for creating mismatches, but as I recall Stertzer was lined up as a fairly wide slot receiver on his TD. Or select all and copy, then paste in a text editor if on a computer. Just gotta do it before the paywall loads.
