The reason i don’t want to play them is because as much as I love beating them I absolutely hate losing to them. This is Kilani’s best team he’s ever had at BYU and I think it will be a tall task to beat them. I wouldn’t mind not playing them this year.

Re: Riley Jensen interview

I have been surprised and disappointed at the judgement and name calling thrown around this week at two great ambassadors for aggie athletics in Waqa and Riley. To be fair, I’m the only one that thinks it’s B.S. Waqa sends his kids anywhere but USU. Everybody else is thrilled for byu and Damuni. I ...

Yes. IF I remember correctly, nephews.
Frank Maile might be one of the most genuine, solid dudes on the planet. I hope one day he gets an opportunity to be HC.

Re: Damuni to BYU

Let me say this, those of you who are calling out Waqa for not making his son's come to USU are WAYYYYYY off base. I don't know many of you personally but I would say that many of you haven't done a fraction for USU that Waqa has and that includes outside of being paid by the university. He did rec...

Re: Damuni to BYU

Waqa told me several years ago that they offered him the job at byu (it was when their football operations guy retired "honorably" after he got busted giving stuff to the players). He basically plugged his nose at the offer. No worries about where his loyalties, he is 100% USU. As for Jovesa, who k...

Re: Damuni to BYU

I’m not sure we’ve been way interested for whatever reason. Maybe 22 can chime in.. at any rate this kid is still growing is a superb athlete and was severely underutilized as a RB. He only plays offense but man I think he could be a great safety/LB. Zero chance he ends up being a LB. Probably doub...

Re: Pray there is a season

Will praying for a season be as effective as praying to make COVID-19 go away? It will help as much as two "worldwide fasts" did. That’s was a pretty lame jab. Right now we need all the prayer and help from the almighty than maybe never before. If you don’t believe or think any of that will help th...

Re: Colombi Transferring

For those of you, that question the competitive fire of Henry Colombi. Why would he sit behind Jordan Love for two seasons? Don't you think that would have been his first chance to bail? If he could handle waiting his turn behind a first-round draft pick, competing with a new transfer wasn't a prob...

Re: New QB transfer?

Listening to GA on 1280. Basically, saying He will always recruit and needs to have competition at every position and nobodies position is given. Every kid is given equal chance to compete and Shelley was brought it to compete for the job just like HC had the chance to compete for the job.

Re: New QB transfer?

I guess if any of us were still wondering if Gary was going to go back to the style of offense he ran last time he was here, we now have a very clear answer. The four remaining guys are all duel threat QBs from my understanding and we added a bunch of good, yes inexperienced, but talented RBs. Get ...

I have been among the most vehement Of those not wanting GA back, but I am with him on this one. One always tries to get talent when available. There are injuries, remember having to start 4th string Kent Myers a few years back. C olumbi must figure Shelley is better than him if he doesn’t have the...

Re: New QB transfer?

What I think/speculate will happen: Colombi is going to be the more accurate passer and win the job. Shelley will play in a wildcat/cleanup roll. At least starting out. Similar to when Hobbs came to play from Oregon. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk I agree with this. I am really glad Shelley w...

Re: Did that shot go in?

For all those SDSU fans, claiming that refs called the game in our favor, that picture proves that Sam was fouled just like the SDSU guy was about 10 minutes earlier. Hand contact, and then not letting the shooter have a place to land (Sam fell down). IMO, I think the game was called pretty even. I...
