Re: Sabau ghosted KSL sports zone at 1:30

The days of locking a coach down like Stew are gone for USU this day and age. We are not guaranteed success and need to keep reaching to improve. We are only looking at top talent and individuals who have achieved and experienced that.

Q: what can USU do to retain a coach long term?

A: non answer citing spectrum magic and finding somebody that can be rooted in the community.

Sabau ghosted KSL sports zone at 1:30

Q: Who is helping you with the process?

A: I believe in concensus and a democratic process but this is a tight cricle. We have a committee, same one for men's and women's hire. We make sure the student athletes are well represented.

Re: Sabau ghosted KSL sports zone at 1:30

She says she's proactive and never wants to be caught flat footed. Says Danny succeeding is good for utah state.

Wants a coach that can play mwc style offense and defense then went on about how important defense is. I think that confirms she reads USUfans.

Appreciation post for Aggies22 here! I love his posts and insights, especially when it comes to supporting BA and his staff. I will say he missed on two occasions 1. Smith to Utah and 2. Sprinks to UW. I was looking forward to seeing Pope in purple. While it's a bummer, I think it suggests these si...

Poll: how likely is it that women's basketball has a 20+ win season this decade?

Personally I feel like this program sucks, has always sucked, and will always suck but there's no reason for it to be that way. The fans would get behind the team if they were any good. See volleyball and soccer.

Re: Tod Kowalczyk - Announcement on Tuesday

Back to the topic. I am curious: The lack of conf tourney and NIT success is likely because his teams are really bad on Defense. Curious what his teams ranked in conference in this area. I have suspicion that they are near the bottom, which would be a HUGE red flag for me. Anyone know how I find th...

Rank the five coaches that left us

Gary took what was one of the worst products in division 1 sports for a very long time and made me think we could be good. We went from hoping we would win games to making bowls to winning conferences. Everybody else started with much much more. Gary 1.0 is the best thing that happened to USU sports...

AMAZING READ RE: NIL

I wouldn't call it amazing. He is always whining about things that he has a huge advantage in. He doesn't give any good reasons other than it being inconvenient to him and he seems very self centered in similar ways in all he does.

It's also not about NIL.

Diana Sabau is not even on campus at the moment. I don't have insider info on this one, but I guessed that she was told by DS when the contract offer was made. Has Diana purchased a house in CV or is she working on it? Not sure, but her family still lives in Chicago. I believe that's where she's at...

Yeah, I'm pretty out on this hire, if true. I do see a lot of positives, and I'd be willing to wait and see before passing any hard judgement, but a team with the success we've had in recent years and the money we're able to offer to a coach should be able to do a little bit better than a guy who h...

Some of you are the most pathetic jilted lovers. He gave TCU the worst loss of the season. He didn't check out in the one day between games. He came to an agreement with Washington a month ago. Purdue was just a lot better than us.

Purdue does not run. That's mixed news for us. They are the 4th best team scoring off cuts. We are 330 in defending it. They post up 20% of the time. I assume that's the most in ncaa as the average is 7%. Post up D is our best defense. They spot up shoot 23% of the time. That's our second best defen...
