Re: Best USU vs BYU game of the decade

I was in the MTC during the 2014 game. One of the Elders in our dorm floor snuck in one of those small portable radio devices and so we all listened to it live and could hear the stadium across the street react simultaneously during the call. None of us could believe what was happening. Lol fun mem...

Re: Who else had plans on going to the Draft

I can think of almost nothing more boring. I can't figure out why guys watch it on TV. I do watch the NBA draft a bit, but it is much shorter. I know, most people do agree with you. I can't say I sit and watch the whole thing every year, so much as I watch the rounds where it is likely a Utah State...

Re: Tickets for the tourney

Will we be reimbursed when the tournament is inevitably cancelled due to the coronavirus? This is the real question. It’s looking worse and worse. In reality, we are quite lucky we had our conference tournament early. The IVY league just canceled theirs all together. A few others have moved to play...

Re: This SDSU postgame presser is absolutely delicious

I have to say, I didn’t think Dutcher was that good of a coach until I watched that press conference. I am genuinely impressed. He had a lot of good things to say, had a good outlook on the implications of the game, and was honest in the way he answered. Lots of respect to San Diego State. They are ...

Shout out to him, he was huge this weekend. His 2 threes in the 2nd half after the Aztecs went up 7. Very proud of him.
He deserves more credit. His defense on Mitchell was key. He and Bean guarded him most of the night and frustrated him to 4 points.

I would say in my experience that if I miss the shot and I am in tune enough to figure out what went wrong in my mechanics have a much higher chance of making the second shot. So do you? I know the times I’ve done I rarely hit the second shot. Yeah, I do. I would say I hit close to 70% on the secon...

Nice little cherry on top of the most disappointing season ever. Hard to be disappointed with 23 wins and a second place finish in a conference we struggled in for years. Re: WSJ homepage article on MWC using new Nike balls (picture of Sam in article too)

Do you think that's why Miller is shooting so bad this year - because he has the wrong balls? He was shooting 35% from 3 with the old ball, 21% with Nike ball. Porter went from 35% to 17%, Sam from 47% to 35% Eh there’s lots of excuses to explain those percentages.. Nike balls, moved 3 point line, ...

Not saying Bischoff is not good but apparently being good in practice doesn't mean they are good in game. I think that Brock may just have some anxiety issues. Do we have a big enough sample from Bairstow to know whether he is a better shooter? I don't think we do. As of right now, here are the stats for the season: Brock Miller, 53/177, 29.9% from three Sean Baristow, 8/22, 36.4% from three I’m no math statician, but to my memory 30 is the magic number w...

Miller has shot some poorly lately as we all know. Maybe the only way to snap him out if it is to have a baby?!

The title of the OP will be the title of many offseason coaching videos. Brito's two handed chest pass for the game tying layup was technically a thing of beauty. John Wooden would be proud. Oh, wait... That 2 on 1 fast break by Miller was poetry in motion. Which was worse? Brock Miller 2 on 1 fast...
