His record is not great, I’m digging coal K. Simon was competing with Sprinkle in the Big Sky. Re: No offer has been made yet?
I hope this is intentional and not just a three ring circus. Goodman wouldn’t have run with his intel unless it was good. I’m guessing it was true that things were close with TK, but perhaps things have since changed.
We will know soon enough.

Re: Tod Kowalczyk - Announcement on Tuesday
Just watch, this thread has triggered the reverse jinx. Our great-grandkids will be watching the Ags play in the Kowalczyck Pavilion (built in 2057), named after the famed Aggie basketball coach who coached for 18 years at USU (from ages 57-75). The Coach who brought us an Elite 8, five Sweet 16s, a...

Re: Not a Fan of Sabua Thus Far
Who the (I can't express myself without swearing) is Sabua? This place sure is (I can't express myself without swearing) whiney sometimes (and trust me, I know whining! I have a very specific set of things I whine about though). There were no grand slam hires to be made here like there was last year...

Is anybody else underwhelmed? He is slightly above .500 for his coaching career. I get that he is a family man and gives us a better chance of keeping him in Logan for a while but he hasn't really done anything super impressive? I am "whelmed." I was about a 6/10 in terms of excitement on every can...

And I don’t think it’s weird Andy was with Sprink. I do think it’s kind of weird he’s one of the only people in that pic wearing UW gear if he’s in the mix here — doesn’t really scream “I’m USU’s next coach.”

Re: Who should be our next head coach!
If Todd Simon is the coach and everyone leaves, where are you starting from a roster building standpoint? He doesn’t have superstars to bring with him like Danny did. Are we just pulling some average players from Bowling Green and then getting what we can from the portal? TK, Todd, and Hill are all ...

You can tell he’s an inefficient volume scorer from his stat line. Maybe that’s because he was the only real option on a bad team?
EDIT: looks like he was pretty much the same dude in JC.

Re: Sprinkle's (possible) replacements
I will say, I’m not optimistic on how good we’d be next season with Todd Simon. I doubt he’ll be able to retain most of our players, and there’s not a single player on his roster that gets me excited that could follow him here. Doesn’t feel like a recipe to be very good next year, but hopefully he’s...

I think a contingent of Aggie fans is gonna flip no matter who it is. There’s zero consensus around a candidate this year. I would be fine with just about any of the...

Re: Who should be our next head coach!
As of this hour I believe Andy Hill is the favorite for getting the job. Duryea like success incoming. Assuming Hill is the choice, this is nothing like when Duryea was hired with all due respect. The program had zero mojo and energy when Stew retired and we hired an assistant from a lame duck regi...

Re: Who should be our next head coach!
All of the outside options this offseason seem far more "blah" than Sprinkle did last year, and none of them aside from Kowalczyk have an attractive group of players to bring with. Just being honest! That's why hiring Hill or even Haslem would be acceptable to me and may be the option I most prefer ...

Re: Interesting Blue A Collective Article
That article highlights an interesting tension that I hadn't considered for the people running the collective -- they of course want to run out and offer Mason and Isaac a bunch of money to stay, but they don't want to do that only for the new coach to come in with different ideas for the roster. Re...

I’ll be honest, Tod getting the job reminds me a lot of Blake getting the job here.
