This season vs. last season (this might seem a little crazy)

Our offensive production is not what it was last year, but in some ways, this year is at least as impressive. We beat a whopping three teams that finished with winning records last year — BYU, Hawaii, and North Texas (Wyoming finished 6-6). This year, we’ve already beaten three teams likely to finis...

Re: No matter how this ends...

This post was a good example of why I ordinarily don’t post during the game. I still think the goal line call was pretty bad, but Sanford otherwise called a decent game.

Conference bowl preference?

If I remember correctly, the conference places seven win teams before 6 win teams, so assuming the most likely occurs and we lose to Boise and beat UNM, we should be golden at 7-5, right? Even if we were to lose out, I hate that 7-5 teams we beat (potentially Nevada and Wyoming) would get preference...

That is a damn good win for MSU. UNC-G is a good team that beat A&T by more than we did and gave KU a decent game in Allen Fieldhouse.

Holy crap! No way we want CSU to lose. We want a championship. We'll go to a bowl game for sure now.
I’m finding silver linings and hedging happiness. Of course I’d prefer a CSU win.

I’d be okay if CSU lost too. Will all but guarantee CSU does not become bowl eligible, cause they would have to beat Wyoming AND Boise. There’s already going to be a glut of bowl eligible teams.

Probably just activated the board jinx, but they are up 14-0 on the flyboys. If Rammies win, it is winner take all with Boise next week.

Re: We won.

Anderson and Bean were the stars of the game. Combine stats tells the story with 39 points and 16 rebounds which lead the way of a 27 point margin win. Too many TOs and missed FTs by us. Dorius outplayed Kuba. Brito is beginning to look like a starter, and the opposite can be said about Porter. Bri...

Fortunately, we only have three more games this season on the MW Network (UTSA and the two NAIA games).

I don’t remember the quality being this bad last year with the Stadium Roku app. I don’t know why they abandoned the app.

Wiseman (wisely) dropped the case. There’s a reason no one else does that, and that’s the discovery process and subpoena power. You really want to potentially give the NCAA access to ALL the skeletons in the closet?

I doubt the NCAA will allow Memphis to hide behind the TRO to avoid punishment.

Honest question — what has Nawahine shown thus far that makes anyone think he’ll be a legitimate RB1 option we should be concerned about burning a RS year on? Not saying he can’t develop into that player, but I’ve been pretty underwhelmed with the limited carries he’s gotten, especially based on pre...

Too many variables.

If Harding plays and Queta does not play = USU 85, Weber State 78.

If Harding does not play and Queta does not play = USU 90, Weber State 75.

If Harding does not play, but Queta does play = USU 95, Weber State 70.

Bad: -Diogo Brito had a really rough shooting night. I suspect that will not ...

I hope this game can be explained by a combination of Frey just going absolutely nuts and us overlooking them a bit. Big shout out to Fonzo for icing the game.

Hope it’s just a wake up call and not a sign of things to come.

Looking forward to a better overall performance against Weber.

I don’t have long term concerns about Gary because we lost to Air Force and BYU and are 4-4. We may have overachieved last year, but an equally probable hypothesis is that we significantly underachieved our talent level in the Duryea years. The only loss from last year’s team that is in any way significant is Quinn Taylor. I am fairly confident that Anderson and Bairstow will at least repli...

A 6th win could be tough. Fresno State is probably our most winnable game outside of New Mexico and I don't know if our defense can stop them at this point.
Nah, the Wyoming game is the most winnable. But we could easily lose that one.
