Re: A memory test

I believe we got demolished at SDSU that season, lost at LA Tech after the y game, and I remember a really cold and wet Hawaii game at home in which we were close in the first half and got destroyed the rest of the way. That was one of the colder ones I've attended.

For my brother and my mom, both gone in the last two years. My brother was one who sat with Troutputz as students in section L, row one. For Buckfevr as well, a great board contributor.

Re: The moment I knew

I loved that play! He sent a message to both teams about expectations and how this game was going to conclude. The team really attacked the press with the intent of making the Frogs pay.

The officiating was bad, but it was equally bad. We just sucked after Great picked up his second.

Re: Yewts likely out...

I think the u's problem is the Collette Curse. Their refusal to play us started their downward trend, and the "procurement" of Collette's services has turned him into their own Murphy the Goat. They'll have to miss the tournament until they either play us in the Spectrum or until Collette passes awa...

Re: Some pretty underwhelming play

When a team is in first place, they get the best shot EVERY team has to offer. We get lots of attention, and we keep answering the bell. I would be interested in seeing the metrics that support your statement that our opponents play harder against the Aggies then they do against their other opponen...

Was he the guy who had that long TD?
That was Seni Tuiaki
His post-game interview after that score should have earned him some sort of NIL deal with McDonalds.

Re: A history test

I think the correct answer is 'it depends on what years". NMSU was paired with Long Beach for a stretch, with UNLV for a stretch, and North Texas for a stretch. I think Pacific was with San Jose, Long Beach, and Northridge at different times.

Thank you so much for your input. Todays players more athletic? Probably a little. But we had, 40 to 60 years ago players like LeRoy Walker, Cornell Green,Nate Williams, Marv Robert’s, Jimmy Moore, Daryl Owens..and many more, who were just as athletic as todays group. Shaler Halimon was very athlet...

I was hoping your lads would take the game lightly. Here is a bit of trivia..That is the first Pack road win against a ranked opponent since 1981...Yikes!!
I was hoping your guys would correlate Logan to Laramie and play accordingly. When your guys are on, they're really good.

We dropped all the way from #1 in the conference standings down to... oh, wait. Still #1. Might end up in a tie at the end of the day, and it was a tough game. We're still in prime spot with the worst of the road games behind us. CSU will be tough, but not more than what we've already been through a...

Re: NMSU player continuing their program tradition

I think this says more about the Logan police than it does about Stew. I'm virtually certain that Logan is the only place in the country where someone will get charged with a felony for sharing some weed with their friends. I think Stew thought that the charge was BS but felt like he couldn't just ...

Has there ever been a qb that could throw the ball further than Bradshaw? I don’t remember one.
Burns Crookston, former Aggie qb, threw goalpost to goalpost with a reporter present (prior to the goalposts being moved to the back of the end zone).

Tough game, they got us playing fast early. They played really well. I was pleased overall with what we did in the 2nd half. We just had too big a deficit to overcome, and they're a fantastic team at home. I'm hopeful a bit of rest and some home cooking on Saturday will get us back in a groove.
