Re: Brock Miller defense
Great insights! The team defense concept is something Brock uses well. He overplays an unwanted direction to get his guy to go the direction the the team wants a guy to go. The Nemi block on the video responding to the Show is a good example of this. Brock forced his guy a direction that led him to ...

Comparing the two lineups: Isaiah Stevens slightly better then Wooster Marco Anthony = to Moore Miller’s > Slightly better then Thistlewood Bean = to Roddy Quetta much > than Moors Our bench is much much better than theirs. I think our coaching is slightly better than theirs. They should be very go...

Re: Big Win!
Awesome game with tremendous defense. We did have a few miscues, but they were few. It was interesting to watch a couple of those in which the Aztecs had open looks they passed on to work into a couple of really bad shots. And Ashworth's energy was big off the bench. I hope Mitchell's alright and wi...

Nothing wrong with a 2nd round. How long's it been since we got a second or first rounder before Sammy broke the tape? 1986 Greg Grant. [/quote] Greg was actually picked in the 6th round. We have to go back to Brian Jackson in '81 who was a second-rounder. I believe Nate Williams was our last first...

Agreed, 3rdGen. I would speculate that Ag4life's post is probably as close as we'll get to the actual occurrence. This has been an emotionally charged season for the players who are still here. That they're playing at this level and have stayed for the entirety of a miserable year suggests to me the...

That Hawaii game was a tough one. My group stayed for the whole thing as we were ripped to shreds in that 2nd half. I remember another fan yelling at us for criticizing the 2nd half play. The following play resulted in us throwing an interception. We loudly commended the good throw and were again ye...

Jalen was recently signed by the Bengals so Burrow will be practicing against him. It would be great if he could work his way onto the active roster.

Great fight, fun to watch Lopez dominate the 12th round. Fun to see the American take out the former pound-for-pound best. Loma ought not wait another 14 months for his next fight.

He was a pretty big Aggie if I remember clearly from a few decades ago. That was much appreciated. The Village Inn is closed now BUT if you're talking a few decades ago (late 90's, early 2000's), in a crazy twist of fate, the big Aggie fan at Village Inn was likely me. Some interesting "coincidence...

You didn't go to Van Halen?!? Did they really play the Spectrum? Yep, in 1979. They were booked not long before they really hit it big, and kept their agreement. I can't fathom something like that nowadays. Here's a link with a bit of info. https://www.google.com/amp/s/vanhalenrising.tumblr.com/pos...
