Wearing the Championship shirts will be fun

for the people in the third world countries that get them after they are sent away! In all reality, it has still been a great season to even get the shirts printed, even if we aren't the ones that get them! And maybe the team will surprise again and instead get the San Diego State shirts sent away.

Re: Can we keep Blake?

I am going to predict that we keep Anderson longer than we keep Odom. With regards to Odom, I am more worried about the number of NCAA Tournament wins we get out of him than years we get him for. We can hope that there is now a perception that pretty much anyone get Utah State to go to the NCAA Tou...

Don’t sleep on this rumor… Blake is a Baptist, played at Baylor and speaking from experience… being a Protestant in Cache Valley isn’t that much fun. Knowing him he would love a faith-based job with influence. The more realistic thing to hope for is Baylor being interested in someone else. Like Bil...

If for NO other reason, then one reason to focus on football is that football is what drives conference invitations, the chance to be invited to better conferences. We needed the football winning season in 2011 alot more than we needed to keep winning in basketball to get invited to the Mountain Wes...

When you dance and celebrate like you won the friggin super bowl like they did at the end of the San Jose State game, it’s easy to think “you’ve made it’ and therefore get complacent with preparation. Our 2 division losses to Boise and Air Force's 1 knocks us out. Then Air Force has the head to head tiebreaker over Boise.

Good win today USU. Volleyball ties for regular season champion. Now they are a 2 seed in the tourney. Why the 2 seed? We tied for that regular season championship and just beat CSU. Seems like we should have the 1 seed. Tiebreaker. We split regular season games with CSU. After head to head can't b...

Coaches will come and go, worry about keeping Hartwell. The ironic thing is that as bad as the forfeit CSU incident was last year, it could be what helps us keep Hartwell longer! We got blown out by south dakota state last year and still ended up in the tournament. Under stew we lost to Jackson state and Ipfw and made the tournament.
Those weren't home games though. A valid point though is the team that took Kansas to the wire did lose at home to a 13-15 Idaho team.

Would you sacrifice two L’s against Air Force in hoops in exchange for a W against them in football? Then get over the hump and win #60 like North Caro...
