Re: Falslev in the portal
I believe he picked Utah over us because he wasnt a huge smith fan right? Once smith went to Utah he flipped to us with the help of Rylan Jones. His whole family are HUGE Aggies. I really hope he stays I've posted this before, but I don't exactly think his family has had the best experiences with U...

Even though I do sometimes will point out his miss on Smith to Utah not happening, there are ALOT of things he has hit on that I can recall just off the top of my head.
I do know he hits on some things going on with the teams even more accurately than the players themselves.

Re: What Sprinkle can't take with him
Honestly, there is part of me that is happy that Sprinkle left because I was worried that USU was going to overpay him based on one lucky season. If he became mediocre with several years remaining on a $2 million per year contract, that puts our program in a very bad spot. Happened with our Footbal...

Re: At least he had the stones to drop a statement.
Chartering flights to every game is far from the best use of our limited budget. I hope Sprink being gone ends the (I can't express myself without swearing) about chartering flights. This. Chartering to every game wouldn't have made a difference with him staying. Not when we can't compete salary wi...

The Cache Valley Mall won't be around much longer. It is going to be demolished soon in favor of a new shopping center that has a hotel and apartments. Alot of stores anticipating it have moved to other locations.

Re: Keeping Our Guys
Sorry if this has been brought up before and maybe Aggies22 can enlighten us more. But I was told once that foreign born athletes are not able to be paid NIL money. I am sure there are ways that collectives or local donors or businesses can get around those rules, but I would assume that might help...

Scott Garrard said in a radio interview that he thought he knew Smith to Utah wasn't happening, so convinced that he was very close to tweeting telling us not to freak out cause it wasn't happening, but then he decided not to cause he didn't want to get burned on it.

A secondary good thing about FINALLY getting the first round win
One secondary good thing about finally getting a first round win is that we can have confidence that we can see our team have an occasional hiccup debacle of a game and not freak out thinking it's the end of the world. Ineptimusprime pointed out that part of the reason why there was so most hand wri...

Re: Falslev will be entering the portal
Mason is not an NBA player. He’s not wild about living overseas. He’s gonna make as much NIL $$ as he can the next 3-4 whatever seasons he has left before he takes over the family turf field installation business. He was thinking ahead before Danny. So wait — the plan is to break Cache Valley’s hea...

Yeah, I think Sprinkle leaving might be coloring your view of the season. I still remember the 2012 football season as the best football season of my lifetime, not the season where Coach Andersen left. Yeah, but Coach Andersen built that team. Sure there were some Brent Guy.. guys.. but Gary built ...

I’m also just not convinced he’s going to get a better offer elsewhere. He had a nice season, but nothing super special. If we truly have a top 1/3 MW collective, I’d hope we’d be competitive. The real problem is donors may be hesitant to pay for Mason to stay one more year and then get burned by h...

I look at it is quality over quantity. A high quality of the ONE year we had him for over quantity of years, even if they are good years, good enough to get poached by someone but only come with NCAA one and dones.

I am glad we didn’t sign up to pay $2 million for a coach. That’s not a good bit of business because: (1) it isn’t enough to keep someone from moving up if the call comes; (2) it’s way too much to owe if the coach doesn’t replicate the same performance. You do have a pay guy proven enough to get th...

I will still want low to mid-majors to beat them, but I will also want them to beat the bluebloods like Michigan State and Kentucky. And in years we are in the bubble, I will cheer for them if it helps our bubble situation.

Deciding not to hire Will Wade cause of his recruiting violations would be like a company hiring drivers deciding not to hire someone cause they have gotten tickets for going 65 on legacy parkway while the speed limit was 55 before they raised it to 65.

I question whether he will even do well at Washington. Have fun competing with the likes of Purdue, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan St, etc. on a nightly basis.
