Re: Javon Bouknight

There are at least four families in Clearfield that would agree that Jovon is a real idiot as they know the potential consequences! Better yet, friends of those four families would as well agree! If Jovon does get desperate enough to beg for a job coaching high school football, Clearfield High is on...

I don't blame him. It didn't look like he was the only one who had no clue what to do. Obviously, GA never lined up a team to defend an on-side kick in practice. And that is EXACTLY why, being just one example, I argue that GA, even in his first stint, was not that great of an in-game adjusting coa...

I am glad we got Ryan Odom instead of Tim Miles, but I do think San Jose State getting Tim Miles is as good of a get for them as Odom was for us. San Jose State is fortunate to get someone, ANYONE who has a history of success, ANY success as a D1 head coach, even if it was just regular season succes...

A unique NFL Draft night for us

Last year was our first year being interested in the first round as it was the first time in decades we would have a guy taken in the first round. There are years it is worth watching starting with the second or third round expecting one of our guys to go, but not in the first round. Then years that...

Re: This may sound dumb: program energy

Yeah I still think it will be a challenge to win 7 games next year. Fans are so excited which is great, but some on here have set themselves up for a letdown if we go 5-7, which to me would be a great step in the right direction in year one. Especially if we are a few plays away from winning some o...

The back and forth trend

In short, it's interesting how we have swung back and forth between doing better than even the most optimistic fans thought we would do, to doing worse than the most pessimistic fans thought we would do. Prior to 2006, we weren't used to being great, but we were at least used to winning half of our ...

I know we have played in Orem in the past - do we still do a home and home with UVU? While Stew's scheduling philosophies were criticized, give him credit for agreeing to these games and being consistent. While alot of people didn't like us playing home and home with UVU, there wasn't quite the uni...

Re: Craig Smith says he wants to play Utah State

I like that Craig points out USU plays Weber home and home. I guess the logic follows that if USU will play a lower league school on equal terms for the sake of in-state games, why can't Utah? But Craig, while he was here, didn't play South Dakota home and home which would be a comparison to playin...

Well, alot of you hate the idea of the scenario we have to cheer for Utah, but the easy ways we can avoid are to either win enough to be safely in the tournament off the bubble, or lose enough to not even be on the bubble. And, it's easier choice if Utah is a bubble team themselves, then cheer again...

As for the soccer coach that went to UVU, it is extra bogus since USU doesn't even have a Men's scholarship team. Medical disqualification is generally permanent, although Marcus Moore was once medically disqualified. Still, the chances of being undisqualified are low.

Nope, you never cheer or wish any success for the enemy. I'd say I want them to lose every game by 50, but 50 isn't big enough.
In years that we are a bubble team, the other bubble teams are the enemy moreso than Utah or BYU, unless Utah or BYU are also bubble teams.

Rule 0. Always root for USU. Never root for their opponents. Rule 1. Never root for the Stench. Always root for their opponents. Rule 2. Never root for the Pukes. See, however, Rule 1. But the higher priority is we want what is best for USU. In the scenario that, say, Cal finished 9th in the PAC 12...

We still might have to cheer for Utah sometimes

There are some scenarios where we would have to cheer for Utah. Like if they do poorly enough that they would be a bad loss for another PAC 12 school we are in competition with on the bubble. Or if they do good enough that they are safely in the tournament where another PAC 12 school is in competiti...

They've said that you need a mask to enter. Beyond that I don't know.
When the mandate ended April 10, it was replaced by an order requiring masks at gatherings of 50 or more, amongst other things.
