Re: WSU coach in a pissing match with administration over vaccination

Apparently he is skipping the PAC-12 media days because they require a vaccination and he doesn't want to get vaccinated. The AD and President have gone public via social media about the matter and the athletic department seems to be leaking like a sieve with leaks from employees about the disfunct...

A game we easily won despite nearly giving it away at the end. Defense was on point overall

Re: Favorite Play

Similar to the basketball thread, what's your all time favorite Aggie football play? (Again, not necessarily biggest or most important, just your personal favorite). Mine is easy; Bobby Wagner one handed interception. It was one of those moments where it didn't seem real or even possible. I think f...

Re: Forfeits if Covid is an issue

What are the parameters surrounding a forfeiture - what metrics need to be met where the MWC calls the game? One person with COVID? Four? What happens if a vaccinated player tests positive for COVID and this causes the forfeit? Probably way more than four. More like enough players that a team isn't...

Re: Forfeits if Covid is an issue

I think this just sets up a scenario where there is now a division among players that are supposed to be one team and have each other's backs. By dangling the "reward" of having no required testing to those that have chosen to get the shot, the conference is essentially telling those that choose no...

Re: Forfeits if Covid is an issue

I have a good faith question and don't want this to devolve into a political or philosophical discussion, but at what point, if ever, will someone be able to play with COVID? Players have played with colds, the flu and probably any number of other illnesses in the past. Let's suppose an entire team...

Forfeits if Covid is an issue

The Mountain West has made a statement that if a team is unable to take the field cause of Covid, Games will be forfeited. And NOT cancelled, postponed or rescheduled. The SEC and a number of conferences have done the same. It will likely be done by all conferences eventually.

Another good thing about the Richmond game

I have been thinking, another good thing about the neutral site Richmond game is that will prepare us for playing in front of literally a crowd somewhat comparable to what we may have in an NCAA game. The players can get comfortable playing in front of the home crowds, and there's always the talk ab...

Re: N(Y)AR: That sound you hear...

The funny thing is that people might think that the SEC would be getting another Top 5 program by bringing in Oklahoma, but the reality is someone has to lose any given game, so either Oklahoma would have to lose to some of the teams at the top of SEC and have a less than stellar record, or the othe...

One of my favorites not yet mentioned is the Jaron Bentrude Touchdown. BA has arguably ALREADY had a hand in a win over BYU

and one where we were three touchdown underdogs no less! Or at least some people thought that maybe when we lost to BA's Red Wolves in 2014, the team was refocused for the BYU game, and that the win maybe wouldn't have happened if we beat the Red Wolves like we were supposed to. https://www.usufans....

Smith would wear a shirt and tie his first two years, he would always be wearing a suit coat at the beginning of the game, during the introductions and huddle, then take it off immediately after tipoff.
