Re: Jason Phillips Gone?

Jackson state?? uhhhh Yeah, that's the team that we played in basketball and lost to which was bad, and everyone disagreed with Stew scheduling the game. For years after that, teams that sucked would be referred to as "Jackson State", and we would want to say avoiding a "Jackson State". At least un...

How the MW should schedule

Schedule everyone to first play the five division games, then the 3 cross-over division games. Or have the schedule go four division games, 3 cross-over, then ending with a division opponent. That way, so that if one of the games has to be postponed, they could either cancel a cross-over game as a m...

Re: Stew Morrill should coach a High School team

He should become a TV or radio analyst. If Stew were to take up an analyst job he’d probably be like Johnny Miller’s golf commentator gig. He would not mince words. He wouldn’t be PC. He’d call out those that needed calling out. And he’d let loose with a few profanities. He’d last about two games. ...

Re: One Advantage of Not Playing This Year...

No advantage. The schools that do play still get their scholies for next year. The rule for next year will be, for both schools that do and don't play this year, 85 plus unlimited seniors. 2022 will be down to 85 including seniors. Did you see that somewhere? I would think the numbers are messed up...

Texas Tech has gotten enough first downs to escape! Matt Wells was saved by a goal line stand at the end of the half, that and HBU not kicking the field goal, like he was saved by the ARod punt return.

Re: Our old friends facing off

Houston Baptist is only down 21-10 at half. That's at least enough to get the fans who hated the Wells hire fired up arguing they were right. Allowing the huskies to hang in there longer could turn some fans who were supportive of the hire against him! The huskies winning this could put agmacs old a...

cause of a few Covid cases. And in all reality, this is NOT something we should be happy about as it could snowball into more games and other sports being cancelled. And before you say "Who cares about BYU", it's relevant as it's one of the few college football games left on the table.

A KVNU call-in show to discuss covid and lack of football

Someone had an interesting idea. KVNU has a call in show with Frandsen, Al Lewis and Ryan Bohm to discuss Covid and the fact that we aren't playing this year. Then people like old Todd could call in and to discuss how bad it is we aren't playing while other schools are.
