Re: Maile's "three pillars" recruiting strategy (from the report)

I’d say there isn’t anything wrong with these being focus areas, but you shouldn’t enshrine that it as your strategy, especially in an interview (or whatever we want to call this meeting). Here is the correct way to say it: “I will continue our successful recruitment channels that have been foundati...

Maile's "three pillars" recruiting strategy (from the report)

Aside from all the drama in the report, I wanted to start a separate thread on the -- I believe previously unknown -- meeting between Cockett and Maile where he campaigned for himself and outlined his recruiting strategy of: 1) Polynesians 2) Locals 3) Return missionaries While these are all key bui...

Re: Verdict on Cockett to be released Friday

There's a lot of nonsense in this thread. Noelle Cockett doesn't hate Mormons. She might think religion doesn't belong in the workplace/academic setting and lament the extent to which religion bleeds into every day life in Utah, but to say "she hates Mormons" is a patently ridiculous statement. If y...

Was I in the room that Friday after the the Nevada game when Gary met with John to quit and work out a plan to call it a firing to save face? No. Do I know this to be the ...

If anyone has access to much more than simple drive by blather about how experienced Noelle is with public venues and how accomplished she is, these assertions would have been D O A. Agreed with above. Now that there will be an investigation, they'll keep the parties segregated. It didn't have to be this way. My big concern is this will be a he said, she said game, and I'm very concerned that the players have coordinated their stories. I'm curious from our attorneys on the board...

There’s not a chance in hell Cockett said what he accuses her of saying by way of hearsay. For me it is increasingly and far more likely that a group of aggrieved players who were part of a meeting on Tuesday and clearly weren’t going to get the outcome they wanted are engaging in a coordinated hit ...

The thing that doesn't smell right to me about all of this is how coordinated the hit was. I've never seen a "statement from players...

Kinda dumb. If you go with 25% capacity and spread people out they're no more likely to get the 'rona than by going to the grocery store. It's 100% a liability move.
