Re: The Future of the MWC
I think the sun belt is just 8 million or so total. Not per school. Very similar to the payout the WAC got before everyone left.

Re: The Future of the MWC
You have to remember in that deal since the AAC wanted to claim superiority, their deal is a high number but the conference pays for broadcasting costs which lower that number significantly. With the MW deal all broadcast costs are paid by the broadcaster and have no effect on the conference distrib...

Re: NAR: CSU/WYO Ending
Basically from what I see here we should be worried about CSU in a high pressure tournament situation, because the have shown the inability to to make good decisions under pressure and allow the other team to take advantage.

The MWC holds all of the cards in this, all they have to do is stand together. The PAC doesn't have enough schools to continue as a conference, they have no other reasonable options outside adding MWC schools. All of the benefits of what the PAC is offering is temporary, NCAA tournament credits, P5...

Re: Potential no mw
I think we need to step back and remember the MW and PAC4 are not going to talking money at conference destruction levels. When USCLA left the PAC they went from 20ish million to approx 70 million. Utah is jumping to get to nearly 40 million. That is 50% or more of their overall athletics budgets. T...

Re: Conference alignment news
I did a quick search but was unable to find the answer and haven’t had a chance to check the bylaws. How many schools does it take to vote to dissolve the PAC12? All conferences have that number. Whether it’s 75%, 80%, or 100%. Depending on timing that threshold could play a roll. Dissolution change...

Thinking its more likely we beat them by a small margin giving us a Q1 win and UNR destroys UNLV giving them a big enough net boost to move them into the top 30 giving us two Q1 victories. Suddenly changing the whole discussion and moving us into a lock and an 8 seed. because... you know... reasons.

The correct phrase is “Go Coogs” to separate this from the unspeakable team down south.SectionBAggie wrote: ↑January 28th, 2023, 11:15 pmA phrase that I am unaccustomed to - Go Cougars!!!!
Or when they inevitably screw it up. “They Coog’d it”.

My wife scheduled a vacation this summer without validating the the Aggies schedule so I have four south endzone tickets, in prime catching field goals seats, and a parking pass available. No asking price, just prefer they not go to waste and any money is just bonus.

The targeting call that resulted in the ejection of a y player in the USU game was appealed by the University and overturned. He will be allowed to paly against ND. Did the Aggies appeal the call against them? Who did they appeal to? From what I understand the appeals are handled by the conference....

Unfathomable end of game shooting.
Before the final two Boise makes they were shooting 3 of 18 from the three and hadn’t hit a three pointer in the whole second half. Before Shaver hits the last three with almost no time left he was 0 for 10 on the game and 0 for 4 from three. Not sure what we did to offend the basketball gods but th...

If it took a wife dying of cancer and needing a new start to get him away from a sunbelt team after a half dozen winning seasons and a few conference championships it will take something pretty extraordinary to pull him away from here I think….

I have 6 tickets in the south endzone I won't be able to use. Sickness, travel in the morning, and high school playoffs are getting in the way for this game.
They are paper tickets and I am in Davis county for anyone coming through. Send me a PM if interested.

I had a thought about trying to work with CUSA and the sunbelt (even the MAC) to offer spots to the rest of the AAC so that it falls apart. Meaning no exit fees and each school takes their tourney credits with them. However the more I think the idea of these large super conferences for non power con...

I always found they have significantly more options in person than they do online. it seems like they need to have a minimum stock level in all sizes to appear online leaving out many items that have smaller stock or lot available in all sizes.

This is always a problem with college players. With class and such the only tie a player really has to expand his game is during the off season. Since Neemi was injured in off seasons he could only expand his game so much. now that he has no school and full time trainers I wouldn't be surprised if w...

From what I see TT will not be as smothering on defense as SDSU. SDSU has been top ten in defense for most of the past decade. SDSU also has the advantage of three years worth of games trying to figure out the best game plan for Queta ant a team that was visibly exhausted and therefore missing shots...

I think 4 teams might be an option. like the tourney at the start of the season I expect several teams will be ineligible so that the first 4 out and possible next 4 out will have a good chance of actually getting in.
