Re: Stew Morrill should coach a High School team

If he wanted to get back into the game I think he’d be better off working with elite aau type teams. Stew is a great coach. He has the talent and a lot to offer. But I don’t see him as willing to take on the responsibility. I don’t know Utah as well or Colorado at all- but many states require head c...

The Sandbox can be about anything you want. I will have you know we had a decent conservation about Taco Bell killing the Mexican Pizza and everything else worth eating on its menu just the other day. But seriously it doesn’t always have to end in me (or other posters) calling someone stupid and wro...

Re: Packers QB depth chart

The criticism I’ve seen was what was mentioned. Insufficient decisiveness is more likely (in my view) an attribute of finally being able to see nfl plays full speed while under center- with maybe a little rust and new job nerves as opposed to being a bust. I never heard that Love was unprepared. I n...

I like having a year on it- like last years and prior to 2008. I think it’s cool because over time it will be like a time capsule at a game.

But this shirt stinks. The Aggies 1 or Utah State 1 has been done 3 times. I want suggestive block A shirts. With something simpler on the front.

Sports becoming “soft” & less “fun”

Trevor Bauer upset he couldn’t wear “Free Joe Kelly” shoes. Many people are saying that Baseball is becoming soft and less fun. This has also been levied against other sports, notably football. In some respects I agree with the statement. But there is also a little bit of neanderthal in some of the ...

Today the NCAA Division I Council recommended that Fall sport athletes that participate this Fall or in Spring 2021 not have this season count towards eligibility. Still needs approval by the NCAA Board of Governors. So we could have our seniors play in the Spring and return in the Fall. A nice ges...

The unwritten rules of baseball are just plain stupid. It was awesome to see him hit that grand slam. If the argument is that he extended the game and ran up the score- he’s also more likely to pop out or hit into an inning ending double play- which would have made the game go quicker. These unwrit...

Looking at reality here as I see it. What school in the MWC could justify a jump to another conference given the burden of traveling the Olympic and TItle IX non revenue teams. Just think about Boise traveling non revenue teams to the ACC locations, or for that matter, even AIR FORCE. There is a po...

Re: Rumor about MWC Teams Looking to Jump

Does adding Boise & SDSU (or AFA) make the AAC a power conference? No. Not even close. The numbers probably don’t make sense for either party to add Boise in the AAC. If Boise wants to play this year, the MWC isn’t going to suddenly stop caving to them. But jumping conferences is like marrying a hoo...

You can probably get a chargeback of seat portion, if the university fails to grant a refund- but athletics is going to struggle more.

Players were routinely using the n-bomb, Patterson told them to stop using the word referring to the word by name (as opposed to n-bomb or n-word).
