Remember that this is a generic recruiting thread, so don't let that stop anyone from reporting every single human being who might want to play collegiate basketball as a possible recruit. I think we can get to 2,000 posts in no time. Why so salty, though? Just another poor attempt at sarcasm. One ...

Re: Recruiting

Maybe my memory needs refreshed, but the only game I recall where full court pressure bothered us was New Mexico in the 2018-19 season. Washington gave us problems with their half-court 1-3-1, but that was more us having a lack of players who could drive and kick. Zone full court pressure relies mo...

I'm working on streamlining this depth chart so it's more reflective of what we will likely run in 2020. Obviously there aren't 13 or 14 starting spots. This depth chart was pre-spring ball. I will of course be releasing my position-by-position preseason previews as we near the beginning of fall ca...

Tony was let go a little while ago due to layoffs across all of the Miller businesses. I hope he lands on his feet in this market. I really enjoy listening to Tony and think he is a hidden gem when it come to play-by-play. Was hoping to see him get a break in that respect soon. Wow. I'm not sure an...

Re: Depth chart predictions

Wished Miller could take the Brian Green role, shoot lights out in a moment of need. Fill that role, do his job and not have to depend on him for consistent shooting to win games. I believe with the depth we have, might just see him in a limited role scenario. Exactly. Come in fresh and loose and k...

There has been a major spike in cases here the last couple weeks, including 198 today alone. There will be no game unless they get this cleaned up.
Don't get yourself worked up about case numbers. Watch the stats for hospitalizations and deaths.

I hear McChesney now weighs about the same that Queta did at the end of Queta's Freshman year. Do you know how much that is? 215? 205? Between 215 and 220. I am not convinced Miller is your biggest problem though. IMO our biggest problem lack of outside shooting. While Miller struggled from 3 last year, the entire team was pretty bad (with the exception of Merrill). I'm not convinced that we've solved this problem. In '18-'19 we shot 35% from 3 and wo...

He needs to show that he has at least one elite skill that translates to the NBA and he needs to show that nothing else in his game is a liability. His rebounding is nearly elite, but I'm not sure his other skills are where they need to be. He has work to do.

In addition to being very light for his frame, I doubt McChesney would have found minutes with Bean and Anderson playing as well as they did at the four. There wasn't any room in the rotation for him (while there was some for Bairstow in the backcourt) so redshirting him was a smart option over pla...

Unless a guy grows 5 inches, missions are rarely a benefit in basketball. Especially as with Jaycee and Sam. They both went to countries that don't do basketball. I don't think either of them touched a basketball for two years.
