Re: Urban Meyer to Jacksonville Jaguars
If he hits someone, he very well may get hit back.
Setting aside the money, this isn't a great move. He's going to lose more games next year than he's ever lost. The Jags aren't good.
Mostly, I think this is a failure for USC

I wouldn't expect answers here. This is an internal investigation. With lawyers looking for an opportunity to go after them, they won't say anything that puts them at risk.

Re: Keys against SDSU?
I wonder if coach Smith will have Anthony defend Mitchell. Is anthony strong enough to guard mitchell? I would worry he would bully his way to the rim and shoot a lot of free throws. I remember earlier Smith saying Anthony could guard four positions. It'd be worth a shot. Anthony is our best defend...

Re: Justin Rice Coming to USU
AJ and Justin Should make for a solid core of backers. BA is doing wonderful so far. I'm pretty sure there is still one more coming. Transfer or linebacker? Or both? Do you know how many spots we have left? I know push forwards etc make it difficult to project. Transfer. Another hybrid type dude. R...

I expect someone to draft him in the second round. He's probably a taller, less athletic version of Jordan Bell.

It’s called a “Warrior stripe”. It’s Polynesian. The arrow a must point forward. It was added to help honor Poly culture. But, suddenly, the whole athletic department is anti-poly. That’s part of the reason I’m calling BS on the player strike. Do you know how many black head coaches there have been...

I've already said it another post.....System, system, system. Sirmon did not want to be in a situation where he would have to run the RPO. Re: "New" column about the football program
I'd often agree with that statement. But in this case I stand by my words. I find the claim that there is racism/prejudice to the point of it guiding hiring decisions to be a serious claim- to the point of being incendiary. Racism is an extremely serious claim. In some ways "racist" is short of rap...

But now it’s grounds for burning down the program? We should stop saying this. Neither our program or our school is burning. The program and school are more than a player, coach, president. People come and go, programs and schools carry on. I disagree. I think pushing these stories is intentionally...

Re: Interesting Development
I honestly don't see what the AAC gets out of it. They are already considered the premier G5 conference, and the States they have a presence in (for football) is the largest of any conference at 107.7 million people (the ACC has the second largest at 100.3 million). BYU might bring in a little bit ...

The AAC thinks they can strengthen the conference and get an auto bid to a NY6 bowl - they can't.

True. Both Cockett and Maile have long-standing reputations for high character. They could probably get together and resolve this if left to their own to do so. This is exactly what should have happened. Why didn't it? Because Frank took his ball and went home! At one time I thought Frank could be ...

I’ve seen very few bash Hartwell. Imo the entire mess is his fault. This is the second time he’s botched the hiring process. This just might be the dumbest thing I've ever read. I don't know about "fault" but don't you think he is responsible for some of this? His boss meets with the leadership cou...
