Re: No College Football this fall according to 2 P5 ADs

I think it is more about the crowds and the inability to control the spread than about player safety. It sucks. There are no easy answers. I don't think anyone wants to shut down college sports, and I believe that everyone is doing the best they can with the information they have.

Re: If Both Gach withdraws from the NBA draft he wants to play for Utah State

Both Gach offers something we have lacked: pure athleticism. I have watched him play a couple of times and would love to have him. Don't put too much stock into his 3 pt shooting stats. That isn't who he is. He is a slasher and finisher. Insanely athletic. He does things that Miller and Brito never ...

I would definitely put the odds of having any kind of season in the fall at less than 50%, but I don't know anything. Just my feeling.

And not having a football season could be catastrophic for our athletic program.

I expect that at least the UC system will follow suit, and Washington and Colorado schools probably will as well. And of course, there is a very good chance that USU will not...

Yeah. I'm just sad. The NCAA tournament is by far my favorite sporting event. More than the nba Finals? Stockton and Malone vs Jordan and pippen didn't do it for you huh? If the Jazz were in the finals, it would supersede the tournament for me for that one year only. The finals with two other teams...

Re: NBA draft stock watch: Rising first-round picks and breakthrough prospects

I love me some Sam Merrill, but there are several things that hurt his draft stock: 1. Age. 24 is like Methuselah when it comes to the draft. It is a huge negative. It would be better if he were 21 or 22. Not many college seniors get drafted. Even fewer that took two years off. 2. Let's face it. Sam...

In fairness, at the time we were in a ridiculous tailspin. Luckily the team has mostly righted the ship. They made up for it in the second half with a nearly equally bad call on the play where Queta just beat the shot clock on the low block. He clearly traveled. He went up for the shot, jumped, and the ball slipped out of his hands. Nobody else touched the ball, and he caught it and jumped again to sho...

uhh, USU won't get the 11 seed because they were good enough to get a at large invite even if they didn't win the MWC tournament. Little known factoid.
You’d think they’d mention such an interesting factoid on a TV broadcast sometime. Who knew!
I’ll pass it onto our SID.
If you ask our SID, this is the tallest Aggie team since 2014, when we had 6'10" Jarred Shaw.

The announcers' job is to keep people watching.

And to be fair to Dickau, Merrill is a pretty prodigious flopper. We might as well own it at this point.

I noticed in the postgame, coach Smith went out of his way to specifically compliment Bairstow. I think Smith was trying to boost his confidence, as everyone watching saw that Bairstow was a disaster last night. That is a sign of a good coach.

We have such a little man syndrome. Nobody is"looking for a way" to keep us out. I don't think there is some artificial limit on number of teams from the MW in the tourney. If we truly deserve to be in, we'll be in. If we're not, we have nobody to blame but ourselves, having blown big leads at AFA, ...
