Re: Game on!

There was one positive test several days ago, and no close contacts. And that positive test wasn't a player or coach. How does contact tracing work here? Was it someone on the team who was exposed to someone else who had a positive test, so the other teams opted out since the exposed person might e...

Re: My experiences with Noelle Cockett (very different from the allegations made)

I agree, this all seems completely out of character for Cockett, but she is losing the court of public opinion big time on social media which as you know may be enough to force action. Would you and others be willing to publicly echo these sentiments online outside this forum?

Re: Game @ Weber Canceled?

Most of the time teams stick with conference games because their total number of games will max out, but they are free to schedule last minute games later in the season, and we've done this with non D1 teams in the past. This season also may end being a lot of scrambling all over the country for gam...

Why is/has Miller been starting? To my admittedly untrained eye, I can't come up with 3 good reasons why he is a starter.
would "who else are you going to put there?" be one reason?
Lat year we could have started Brito. Not sure about this year yet.

There are already outbreak pockets with USU students and very few have returned to campus. This is going to get ugly quickly.

Re: No College Football this fall according to 2 P5 ADs

It's about COVID, but it's also mostly about protecting a cash cow based on the sham of "student-athlete." "Amateurism + pandemic = no college sports. It's that simple. End amateurism, let players organize and collectively bargain like pros, and then maybe you get college sports during a pandemic. S...

Everyone. There will not be CFB this calendar year.

Silver lining? No asinine complaint threads here about attendance this fall.

Who am I kidding, of course there will be.

they are just removing what was assumed to be an available at large spot. The auto winners aren't removing that spot, the losers might or will. For example, Gonzaga is removing an at-large spot from a bubble team. Belmont, Lipscomb, UNCG, Hofstra, Furman, etc might kick out a "deserving" bubble tea...

I'm not a fan of calling automatic bid recipients "bid stealers." These teams won the games required per the rules of their conference to gain entry into the NCAA tournament. They aren't stealing anything from at-large teams who failed to complete the requirements maintained by their respective conf...

Martin/Merrill charge call

A lot of people seem to think that Merrill flopped on the charge call when Martin incredibly dunked over him. You can argue the merits of the charge call and whether or not it should have been a foul, but he certainly didn't flop. Here are some photos going around that claim it was a flop: https://t...
