Re: Projected NCAA Tourney Team Loss Comparison

This is great work! Awesome to see all this in one place. Thanks for putting together. One minor suggestion: include the record and NET ranking for the teams being considered themselves, and not just for the opponents of those teams? But this is great even the way it is and I'll definitely be referr...

Re: And the MWC capitulates to BSU demands. What a joke!

I am unsure about what the angst is about. BSU got the original deal to keep it from bolting the conference. The MWC got a new TV contract and it believes that the new contract would defease the conference’s agreement with BSU. That is some screwy logic. An agreement is an agreement. There was no e...

https://twitter.com/mwcwire/status/1225814768277082114?s=21 Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I hate this, though. And I disagree that it's in both sides' best interest. I wish the conference would have kept the fight on. They must've been advised they weren't going to win in court? Or BSU found a l...

Re: Did Breaker Mendenhall get past 22 or did I miss it?

I watched his senior year hudl video and he actually looks pretty good! He is super fast and has great hands. In addition, he was a really good tackler and blocker. It has him listed as an athlete, but in high school he played both DB and WR. He is 6'2. Any ideas on what position he would play? (So...

The original contract signed by the MWC and BSU calls for a $1.8 million dollars extra to be paid to BSU, if we do not do that then we are not honoring that agreement . The need for more revenue does exist because you are not just playing MWC schools we have bowl games with CUSA schools and Mac sch...

I know volleyball will sometimes bus there when they play in September and it's a safe bet the roads will be good I'm from WYO and I've driven that road more times than I can count. Moreso west of Laramie (towards Rawlins) than east to Cheyenne, but on that stretch of I-80, there's NEVER a time whe...

If this goes to court, in all likelihood Boise will win this, the MW promised them the extra money forever. The win shares tell the true story. We can't afford to bench Brito or Porter right now due to bad shooting. They are contributing in other ways which help. Unfortunately, we don't have better options than them right now. You might be right regarding not having better options, but outside Merrill, B...

Keep in mind that John Gentry played at the same high school as Zach Evans one of the top running backs in the country. Thought we could use a thread to keep track of our boys as they compete in post-season/pre-draft games. True Shooting Percentage.
It's an advanced statistic meant to capture a shooter's (or team's) effectiveness in shooting the ball. It takes into account 2 and 3 point shot attempts as well as free throws.

Well to be honest we don’t have anybody that is out for the season or cannot play. Look at the NBA for example, seems like every player is injured in some way or anoth...

BYU has good players on both lines, better than what we had AFA had a 11 win season they had better more experienced player than us. BSU is a much bigger and better program. I like the Wazzu series, but I also wonder if having two P5 teams , BYU, and an FCS is setting ourselves up to struggle. I like the opportunity to play some of these teams.
