Re: Great Osobor
Darius has to be thinking he graduated 1 year too early. Great getting paid that much absolutely should leave Utah State. He deserves it.

Re: Press Conference Q&A's
It doesnt matter if the AV folks are in his dept or not. Hoffman is supposed to direct information to the media and public. He's not doing his job if neither can hear the information. I hear what you’re saying, I’d just say that there would be plenty of others to blame well before him that have mor...

Re: Press Conference Q&A's
From a technical aspect, I’m not even sure it is Doug’s team executing the stream. If I’m looking at the website, I’d completely assume he’s not involved with it at all. There were a lot of questionable decisions on the stream today. The wide shot looked like it was a 15 yr old camera. No one bother...

Re: Andy Hill
I don't think you can just based off the lack of connections to pull players onto our team. If you hire an assistant coach, I think you're committing to a longer rebuilding process vs bring a coach that can also bring players.

Re: Anyone know if Delta has TBS ?
It seems like the newer infotainment systems have moved away from live tv unfortunately. You might be able to stream it though with the built in wifi. I was able to stream a bit on that with my YouTubetv login.

Re: CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?!?
Yeah, it was one of the louder games I’ve been to in a while. Walking out of there my ears felt it. I think also a big difference is that the rest of the crowd joined in a bit and actually had a few moments they stood up.

Re: Hey KJZZ
I couldn't go so I watched the game from home yesterday. I didn't think they were that bad. And with all the Poly connections, I didn't mind the Hawaii discussions. As mentioned, the camera work is apparently on USU. The replays? Mehhh. I got to watch USU play. Much to do about nothing IMO. Not USU...

Re: Hey KJZZ
Everyone is complaining, but here’s my understanding on the matter. The MW didn’t have televised coverage for all of these games. Stadium, Facebook etc weren’t an option. KJZZ and usu worked out some agreement which allowed the non-televised games to be shown. Part of this agreement wasn’t providing...

Re: Open letter to KJZZ
From what I gather, making some money on KJZZ is better than no money and only streaming on the MW. It's a win IMO to have it on kjzz vs nothing. The cost to do this is likely very small since they're using the same feed from in the stadium. I don't think people understand the cost that goes into a ...

Re: New AD presser
For me, that was lame...I'm guessing no SLC media was present? (No surprise.) If they were, they didn't ask any questions. I was hoping for more energy and enthusiasm...this seemed more about her than Utah State. I'm usually wrong, though, so I hope she does a great job for USU. KSL and Fox13 were ...

Bovee was there yesterday at the event and I'm assuming has had some discussions with her. I don't think Noelle was necessarily an avid fan of sports either. I'd argue most university presidents aren't die-hard sports fans.

Some of ya’ll pointing the blame on Noelle right now is crazy. Losing the AD happened and that was unfortunate. Her stepping down or being asked to step down is another thing. Hiring an AD knowing there is a presidential change won’t bring in the best candidates, so that means a delay. Her staying ...

I don’t think enough can be said about Ashworth’s conditioning. He played 40 minutes last night and 33 minutes the night before and still plays with a constant fight on defense and offense. I’m hoping he has plenty more left in the tank for tonight.

“The No Show”
I was surprised to see how little the student section was at SDSU. They had a shot behind the basket and that seemed like the only student section there. Did anyone else see a wide shot that showed more? Even that shot of them looked pretty sad compared to the spectrum. A small advantage to having s...

I’m trying to figure out who Jimbo is. He’s got to be either someone really close in the circle of the President or be great friends with someone that is. Board of trustees/executive leadership. To know the exact times of some of this stuff before likely 99% is impressive. Forget figuring out who th...

Re: Hartwell potentially on the move?
I wouldn’t necessarily jump to conclusions with Scott Wyatt being the interim and USHE feeling the need to clean it up. He was working for USHE on something related to all schools, but based out of USU. Given his past experience, I think he’d already be looked at as a viable option for the time bein...

It appears there isn't much thought put into getting quality images in general. If you're going to shoot on a white backdrop, make the backdrop actually be white and give them good lighting.

I’ve heard a large source is through their broadcast rights of sports and BYUTV. Their tv deal with their own in house broadcast service pays an extremely high premium to show athletic programs. Those funds come through tithing and get put into the sports program that way.

Re: Hartwell potentially on the move?
I wish I knew more details. The only thing that is obvious is the fact that Hartwell did not connect/get along with people in the USU administration. However, I’m guessing there’s something well behind that leading to this result of him walking out forcefully or on his own. Maybe once we get past th...

Let's not forget that the coaches comment came right after the game. Logan had time to think about it, see the response to Coach Anderson and then respond. Time is an advantage in this situation.

The only thing I can think of with the new turf is that it had a lot more cushion to it. I was walking on the field a bit and immediately noticed how much more spongier it felt. Maybe they added too many pellets or their last field didn’t have enough?
